Mrs. Dowell, the music teacher at CES, plays the harp.  She has two children, Greg, a sophomore at Smith County High School, and Lori, a junior in college.  Mr. Dowell is the chorus teacher at Smith County High School and drives a school bus.

Mrs. Dowell also directs a children's choir at her church.  In her spare time she enjoys her family's farm in Smith County.
