Punt, Pass & Kick

WHAT:  The NFL and Gatorade present the NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick program.  Every year more than 3.5 million youngsters compete nationwide.  NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick offers boys and girls the opportunity to compete separately against their peers in punting, passing, and place-kicking contests (based on distance & accuracy) in Local, Sectional, NFL Team Championship, and National Final levels.

Gatorade is part of the equipment of every NFL team.  The Gatorade and NFL relationship dates back to 1967, the first year Gatorade appeared on the sidelines at an NFL game.  As the official sports drink of the NFL for more than 30 years, Gatorade not only has been a partner at the pro and college levels, but in communities nationwide.  In fact, some of the NFL's biggest starts got their start playing in local Punt, Pass & Kick programs -- current and former quarterbacks such as Brett Favre (Green Bay Packers), Dan Marino (Miami Dolphins, Drew Bledsoe (New England Patriots), and Troy Aikman (Dallas Cowboys), as well as kickers and punters such as Tom Tupa (New York Jets) and Matt Stover (Baltimore Ravens).

ELIGIBILITY: Four age groups (8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15) are eligible to compete in separate boys' and girls' divisions.  Participants must fill out an entry form that can be obtained from local organizing groups or on site.  A valid birth certificate and parental signature are required, but no registration fee or purchase are required to enter.

PRIZES: All participants receive a certificate from the NFL, signed by Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.  Prizes for age-group winners include ribbons, medals, plaques, trophies, and a trip for the competitor and two adults to the National Finals.
