From Knoxville: I-40 West,
Exit 258, Turn right onto Hwy 53.
From Nashville: I-40 East, Exit 258, Turn left onto Hwy 53. Stay on Hwy 53 for approximately 5 miles. After crossing Veterans Memorial Bridge, turn left across from Wal-Mart towards the Carthage Business District. Follow Main St. through four (4) traffic lights. After going through the fourth traffic light turn right onto College Ave. across from Sonic and next to the Carthage United Methodist Church. You will pass Smith County High School and the football field. Continue up the hill, making a sharp turn to the right at the top. Carthage Elementary School is at the very end of the street on the left. |
