PLAYGROUND RULES STUDENT’S NAME_________________________________

Fitness equipment behind Brooks' room:   

· No sitting on top of equipment.  Bars are for hanging by hands only.

· No hanging upside down.

· No jumping from the top.

· Do not go over and down the embankment without the teacher's permission.

All Swings:

· Do not jump out of swings.

· Do not walk in front of swings while someone is swinging.

· Sit on bottom when swinging.

Climber with slides and ladders and chutes:

· Do not walk on slides

· Do not climb on slides or on outside of tubes.

· After person in front of you leaves top of slide, count to five before you leave.

· Do not climb up from the outside - use the steps

· Do not stand at the bottom of the slide or chutes.

· Sit on bottom when coming down slide and chutes.  Never come down on back or head first.

· One at a time on ladders going up and down.

Bus loading area playground:

· No standing on or jumping from top of tires.

· Only one person on a fireman's pole at the time

· Walk across bus loading area.

ALL PLAYGROUNDS:

· All school rules apply.

· No throwing rocks, sticks, or mulch.

· No running or playing tag in mulched areas.

· Share equipment with other students.

· No yelling or screaming beside classrooms.

· No food in mouth while playing.

· No pushing or shoving.

· No horseplaying.

KICKBALL:

· Stay in kicking order.

· Throw only at students' legs with the ball for an out.

· No arguing calls by teacher

Use trashcans to keep our playground beautiful.

Never pull on other peoples' clothing.
