TRANSPORTATION POLICY

CARTHAGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

It is very important each day that we know exactly what you expect your child to do when dismissal time arrives. For that reason, please complete the following information and sign and return to school as soon as possible.

At the end of each day, my child is:

(Please make sure your child understands that he/she is to get off the bus each day only at the above address unless we receive a note from you. That note will be copied by the classroom teacher and then sent on to the bus driver. The driver is directed to only make changes from the above arrangements if he/she receives a parent/guardian note.)

UNLESS WE RECEIVE A NOTE FROM THE PARENT/GUARDIAN GIVING US OTHER DIRECTIONS, WE WILL FOLLOW THE ABOVE PROCEDURES EACH DAY. EVEN WITH OLDER STUDENTS, WE NEED A NOTE TO MAKE CHANGES IN THESE DIRECTIONS.

PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING PHONE MESSAGES CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION FOR THE AFTERNOON EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF A TRUE EMERGENCY. YOU MUST SEND A NOTE OR COME TO THE SCHOOL IN PERSON TO ALTER AFTERNOON TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUR CHILD.
