Rebecca Rezny My name is Rebecca Rezny. I am from Cookeville, where I live with my wonderful husband, Matt and my precious son, Gavin. We also have two rambunctious Scottish Terriers, Abby and Riley I graduated from Tennessee Tech, and have been teaching first grade at Carthage Elementary since 2005. My favorite part of teaching first grade is watching students become readers. Once they realize they know how to read, they get a huge boost of confidence, and they feel they can conquer the world. My hope is that they never lose that feeling, and that it drives them throughout their lives to help them in achieving their dreams.

Mrs. Jill Wilmore My name is Jill High Wilmore. I live in Pleasant Shade on a farm with my husband, Marty, and my three children, Mandy, Nathan, and Monica. Our family pastime is to work with our Charolais show cattle. I enjoy supporting my children in their many various activities, cooking, canning, reading, and surfing the Internet. I received both my B.S. and M.S. degrees from George Peabody College for Teachers before I began to teach in 1980. I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. I am currently enjoying my position as a 1st Grade teacher here at CES. I love my job, kids, and animals! When you walk into my classroom don't be surprised at what animals you might find. We usually have fish and hermit crabs. In the spring we often hatch chicks and butterflies. I've also been known to have spiders, snakes, geckos, turtles, frogs, gerbils... you name it. I like learning to be fun, and I hope I can develop a love for learning in each child who passes through my class. |
