Kristi Byrne

My name is Kristi Byrne.  I graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2005 with a B.S. in Child and Family Studies.  I really enjoy teaching kindergarten.  There is nothing quite like helping young children discover the joy of learning.

My husband, Abram, and I live in Lafayette with our daughter Katelyn Rose.  I have two stepchildren named Raiel and Lucas. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Martha Dawson

Hi!  My name is Martha Dawson.  I am a graduate of Memphis State University.    I began teaching at CES in 1984.  My family includes my husband, Randy, a pharmacist for FRED'S, and two daughters, Kendra and Kellye.  Kendra and Kellye both attend The University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  Kendra is working on her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.  Kellye is pursuing a Doctorate in Pharmacy.  I enjoy riding my bicycle, making homemade sourdough bread, and singing in the community choir.

Kristie Dixon

My name is Kristie Dixon.  I live in the Brush Creek area.  I have one son, Bailey, and one step-son, Trevor.  I like animals and traveling, watching movies and plays, and reading.  I love teaching Kindergarten and believe it is the most important grade for children.  My goal for all my students is to have a productive and educational kindergarten learning experience that will enable him or her to reach their own maximum potential both intellectually and socially. I want my students to become life-long learners and develop an "I can attitude".  I have been teaching since 1995.

Kristy Taylor

My name is Kristy Taylor, and I love to teach Kindergarten! I began teaching at CES in 1999.  When I was a little girl, I loved to play school with my dolls, now I get to have my own classroom filled with special little people ready to learn new things!  Kindergarten is such a wonderful grade to teach.  The children are so excited about school.  We have so much fun in Kindergarten.  I graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  My husband, Troy, and I live in the Rome community with our two sons, Anthony and Jake.  I enjoy spending time with my family, taking pictures, and going to the beach in the summer.
